Welcome to Wattie's Fruit & Veg Each Day

Wattie's and the New Zealand Dietetic Association support the Ministry of Health's Guideline of eating at least five servings of fruit and veg each day. It’s recommended that at least three of the five are vegetables and at least two are fruit.

Is aimed at helping us understand the benefits of eating a variety of fruits and vegetables as well as reminding you which Wattie’s products count!

Dietitians recommend eating at least five servings of a variety of fruit and vegetables each day as part of a healthy balanced diet. And the good news is that canned, frozen and fresh all count (as per the Ministry of Health Guidelines).

Wattie's are using a new symbol on canned and frozen fruit and vegetable products. The symbol tells you how many servings are in each product making it easy to count your way towards your five or more servings a day.
